Welcome to Kraljevo and medieval monasteries. Breath in the history, enjoy the present.
To the attention of the entire agency, we are pleased to give you our opinion on our experience at the Gradac and Studenica monasteries with Marko and Petar.
The competence and professionalism of the historian and our guide Marko were truly impeccable, sincerely exceeding all expectations. Marko was extremely clear in his exposition of the contents and very comprehensive, available to answer any questions we had and to clarify any doubts. The account of the history and art of the monasteries was detailed and thorough (not a trivial and superficial explanation).
You can see that Marko is passionate about his work and managed to enthuse us with your extraordinary historical and religious culture. His English was clear and we understood the whole explanation. Friendly and very kind. Petar was also ready to meet our requests and communication with him by e-mail for tour planning was easy and immediate and during the visit Petar Dj. was very kind and ready to satisfy our requests.
Hoping to welcome you back to Italy to explain our historical heritage, we wish you a warm greeting and good continuation in your work.
Ad maiora! Marco and Valeria from Italy 15. August 2022.
„I am back in Austria, after a little trip to italy. Its hard to summarise the experience in a few sentences. Probably the closest things is that I have experienced the living church that is centuries old. There is such a richness and depth to Serbia’s Orthodox roots that monasteries like Žiča and studenica still stand today with people so devoted to Christ. It’s inspiring and gives me a lot of hope for New Zealand. There are still many things I find strange in the tradition, especially from my very western background, but I think that is to be expected when discovering something new. And thank you again for the lovely reception I had. And thanks for introducing me to St Nicola. It seems quite fitting to carry St Nicola with me when I return back to the „ends of the earth“
