The monastery clearly stood well, so Abbot Bonini states that it was in 1702. for a year it had a total of 4 mills, 200 acres of ploughs and Meadows (at that time it housed 25 monks), and according to an Austrian charter from 1706. he had a total of ten waterholes. During the final withdrawal of the Turks from Srem in 1716. the monastery was damaged and the church burned. However, soon after this event, the restoration of the monastery and the church began. The baroque bell tower and strings were completed in the first half of the 18th century. century. At the same time, the church was painted, which was entrusted to the Greek Masters from the Holy Mountain, who operated in the territory of Wallachia and Moldova. Krusedol hieromonk Jerotije Dragabovic is the author of the first Serbian cookbook in Srem, which was printed in Zemun in 1855. years.
