Herceg Novi-days of mimosis 01-02. March 2025.
The Mimosa holiday is a traditional event, which has been held in Herceg Novi for 54 years in the first half of the year. As part of this event, a large number of traditional events are held, with the central event "Harvest mimosa". The mimosa that blooms in spite of the winter turning the entire Herceg Novi Riviera into a luxurious đardin (garden) is a trademark of the festival and winter tourism of the Boka Kotorska and Montenegrin coast.
Day 1: Departure from Kraljevo at 00h. journey through Cacak, Požega and Uzice. A short break in Gold. Continue driving through Nova Varoš, Prijepolje, Bijelo Polje and Kološin to morača monastery. Visit the monastery of Morača. Coming to Podgora. Liturgy and tour of the Church of Christ's Resurrection and shorter free time. Going to The Cavern. Visit to the capital of Montenegro: Cetinje Monastery, French legation, Wallachian Church Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, Plavi Dvor, King Nikola's Palace, Biljarda,. Drive along the Old Road to Kotor and a break to the village Njegusi, from where the most famous Montenegrin Tribe leads. Arriving in Herceg Novi in the evening.
Free time. The New Jersey Night.
Day 2: Day off. Liturgy in the Savina monastery, a tour of the Montenegrin coast, followed by a drive along the beautiful Bay of Kotor with panoramic views of the famous Lady of Skrpjel. Coming to Kotor and visiting the Old Town and the Cathedral of St. Trifun, followed by a short tour of the Old Town in Budva. Visit the monastery Regevi. Our last destination is the Old Town of Bar and the Church of St. John Vladimir,followed by a return to Herceg Novi. Free time. Overnight.
Day 3: Departure for Serbia with occasional breaks in Zabljak and on the bridge on đurđević Tara. If time permits, visit the Monastery of Mileševa. Come to the King's eye at midnight.
