1. DAN-KRALJEVO
Departure from the Kingdom at 18: 00. Driving on the highway to NIS and Dimitrovgrad with road breaks for rest and accepts the passenger. After crossing the border, a night drive through Bulgaria.
2. DAN-CONSTANTINOPLE
Arriving in Constantinople early in the morning. 4. DAN-CONSTANTINOPLE
Breakfast. Free time or optional tour of the former monastery of Pantocrator, which was built by Emperor John Komnin with his wife Irina in the beginning of the 12th century. century. For 6 years, the blind and exiled Stefan Decanski lived in it with his son and daughter. This monument, which is today a mosque named Zejrek, is the most beautiful representative of the architecture of the Komnenos ERA in Constantinople. Continue walking to the former monastery church of the mother of God Pamakaristos, the former seat of the Ecumenical Patriarch. (part of the paraklesion is now a museum, the rest is the Fetije mosque). After the tour, we descend to the Fenera neighborhood, The Last Refuge of the Greeks in Constantinople, where we will see the Greek school, the colorful and bohemian parts of this neighborhood and we will end the tour with a visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, i.e. the Church of St. George. Then you visit the Bulgarian Iron Church, which is very close to the Patriarchate, the Church of the Virgin of Vlahernska. Return to hotel, free time. Overnight
5. DAN-CONSTANTINOPLE
After breakfast, we leave the hotel and pack our things on the bus. Free time or optional cruise on the Bosphorus with the explanation of the guide. After the boat ride we go to the Museum of Panorama 1453, which faithfully depicts the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottomans. After visiting the museum, we go to the Greek Church of the Virgin of Belgrade, the former Serbian church within the walls of Constantinople, in the immediate vicinity of the magnificent Belgrade gate. In the afternoon departure for Serbia. Night drive across Bulgaria with road stops for rest and border formalities.
